An Addison Group client is looking for a HR Clerk to join their team on a contract basis in King of Prussia! This is a fully on-site opportunity.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure excellent customer service in the HR Department.
- Respond to basic employee queries and requests.
- Submit online investigation requests and aid in new-employee background checks.
- Conduct audits of payroll, benefits, or other HR programs and suggest corrective measures.
- Assist in processing terminations.
- Help in preparing for the performance review process.
- Support recruitment and interview processes.
- Aid in open enrollment and ACA census reports.
- Track candidate status in HRIS and send follow-up letters post-recruitment.
- Schedule meetings and interviews as directed by the HR Director.
- Handle photocopying, mailing, scanning, emailing, and other clerical tasks.
- Maintain employee personnel, medical, confidential, and I-9 files.
- Assist in or prepare correspondence as required.
- Prepare new-employee files.
- Retrieve, date stamp, and distribute HR mail.
- Organize and maintain files online in HR/Drive.
- Audit files for regulatory compliance.
- Reorganize archived files as instructed by the HR Director.
- Conduct Annual and new hire Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
- Assist the HR Director and Benefits Manager with assigned projects.
- Keep inventory of supplies for the HR Department.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, Associate's required - will consider experience + certification in lieu of degree
- 1-2 years HR experience
- Knowledge in HRIS systems and policies
- Eagerness to learn and grow in HR career
