Job Description
The HR Administrator will primarily focus on supporting the Human Resources team. With excellent collaboration and communication skills, the HR administrator will facilitate onboarding and training, responding to benefit inquiries, and spearhead HR projects. The successful HR Administrator will work the Human Resources team to support the team with payroll, compliance, events, and recruiting. Additional responsibilities for the HR Administrator include the following:
Responsibilities Include:
  • Assist with processing payroll – reviewing timesheets in Rippling and resolving errors.
  • Create and maintain personnel files – tracking compensation and performance reviews.
  • Assist with open enrollment and track benefit eligibility, changes, and enrollment.
  • Coordinate HR projects, schedule meetings for the team, and attend seminars.
  • Plan company events and meetings - summer and holiday parties and other team building events throughout the year.
  • Assist with the recruiting process – post positions on job orders; screen candidates and coordinate and schedule interview with management and prospective candidates.
  • Onboard all new employees – ensuring that new hire paperwork is completed and accurate.
  • Process background checks and check references.
  • Enter and manage candidates and new employees in the Rippling HR system
  • Coordinate with IT department to set up new hires in the company systems and preparing workstations
  • Provide back-up support to the Receptionist – answering phones, greeting visitors, and managing the conference room calendars.
  • Order office supplies and snacks for the office.
  • Manage the holiday card project to clients, vendors, and employees.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of previous administrative experience. HR experience is a plus!
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint – required. Rippling experience is a plus.
  • Experience with process improvement and passionate about learning Human Resources.
  • Excellent experience is prioritizing and organizing multiple projects with excellent attention to detail.
  • Professional, reliable, flexible and have a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail with ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to communicate well in both written and verbal communication forms.
  • Proactive attitude and volunteers willingly to take on additional responsibilities and assist with projects.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree and similar work experience

Compensation
  • $70k - $80k annually depending on experience
