As a Part-Time HR Generalist, you will play a key role in assisting with various HR functions and initiatives. You will work closely with the HR Manager and contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities:

HR Administration:

  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment and inquiries.
  • Prepare HR-related reports and maintain HR databases.

Payroll Administration:

  • Support payroll processing by reviewing and verifying employee time records.
  • Assist with payroll-related inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Coordinate updates to employee compensation and deductions as needed.

Policy Development:

  • Contribute to the development and updating of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all HR practices align with legal and regulatory requirements.

Employee Relations:

  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support.
  • Assist in resolving employee relations issues in a timely and professional manner.

Training and Development:

  • Support employee training and development initiatives.
  • Help coordinate training sessions and track employee participation.

Compliance:

  • Stay up-to-date with labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Assist with the implementation of compliance programs and audits as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in human resources or related roles is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Familiarity with payroll systems and processes is required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Working Hours:
This is a part-time position, typically requiring 25 hours per week. The exact schedule can be flexible and will be determined based on the needs of the company and the availability of the candidate.
