Job Description
We are looking for someone with a caring and friendly personality to join our Team and help our Executive Housekeeper, Check Rooms. This person will work with our EH, to ensure our Housekeepers have cleaned their rooms and made sure they are Guest Ready. This person will need to be tough enough to send our Housekeepers back if the rooms are not Guest Ready. Guest Ready means that our Guests that will be staying in this room will have the cleanest room humanly possible. We have high expectations from our Housekeepers and even Higher expectations from my Executive Housekeeper and her Assistant. We love our Guests and we want them to experience the best of the best. We guarantee our Guests a clean and comfortable room if we don't deliver this, the guest does not have to pay. So, the Executive Housekeeper and her Assistant have very important jobs to make sure the rooms are right where they need to be. If you are someone that likes to make sure everything is in its place then this is the job for you.
Compensation:$13 - $14
Responsibilities:- You will check rooms cleaned by our Housekeepers to ensure they are cleaned and well-stocked properly.
- If the rooms are not cleaned properly, you will need to send the Housekeeper back to take care of the room and make sure it is completed Guest Ready.
- You will work closely with our Executive Housekeeper and help her. She will train you so that you are able to do the morning paperwork for the Housekeeper to begin their day.
- You will be fully trained and you will feel comfortable when it is time for you to be her actual back-up.
- We would like for you to have at least a years' worth of experience as an Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
- You must have verbal skills. Also, be able to write and communicate with the entire team. I am looking for someone that is kind, yet hard working and capable of working alone and making sure the job is done in a timely manner.
- We need someone that has experience in Housekeeping. Preferably, with at least 1 year of being a Checker.
- You must be an outgoing person with a great personality and a gift for working with others. We must have someone who enjoys helping their team be the best. We are NOT looking for someone just here to receive a paycheck and not speak to co-workers or our Guests. The Guests are the reason we are here and your co-workers are here to ensure their job is done correctly. You are the room inspector and you must make sure the rooms are ready for our Paying Guests.
