We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager in the non-profit sector, based in Phoenix, Arizona. In this key role, you will manage all aspects of financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance and providing strategic financial guidance. You will also be leading and mentoring the finance team, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all financial operations, including accounts payable and payroll
• Develop effective accounting procedures and internal controls to safeguard assets
• Oversee the organization's financial software systems, ensuring data integrity and efficient use
• Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement within the finance team
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support for organizational initiatives
• Keep abreast of changes in accounting regulations and best practices within the non-profit sector
• Utilize the Microsoft suite of tools for financial analysis and presentations
• Manage the accounts receivable and financial reporting processes
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering team building and continuous improvement
• Identify opportunities for development, expansion of roles, and promotions within the finance team

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must.

• Must have a thorough understanding of all Accounting Functions.

• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary.

• Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is crucial.
