A healthcare/non-profit organization is seeking to hire an Accounting Manager. This person will report directly to the controller and will be overseeing at least 3 people in accounting. Ideally this person has a background in healthcare/nonprofit and has experience using MS Dynamics. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of healthcare/non-profit accounting experience, has a background using MS Dynamics, and has earned their degree.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements for the property portfolio, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
- Manage and coordinate the recording, reimbursement and related inter company/payroll entries for all the Rose managed properties.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external and internal clients/stakeholders through regular engagement and strategic communication
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, government filings, tax regulations, and internal policies related to property accounting.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance efficiency, and implement best practices across the property accounting function.
- Manage and mentor a team of property accountants, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
- Communicate financial performance, insights, and recommendations to senior management, investors, and other stakeholders as required.
- Coordinate audits and due diligence processes related to property financials, ensuring readiness and compliance.
- Evaluate and implement accounting software and tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of property accounting processes.
- Must be present on-site, with the ability to move throughout the building, ensuring effective communication with tenants, staff, vendors, and visitors.
- Position may be required to perform duties outside their normal responsibilities as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in property accounting or real estate finance, with a track record of progressive responsibility.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations relevant to property accounting, including GAAP and tax laws.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting techniques specific to property management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
