The successful candidate will supervise the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger postings, ensuring accurate financial management and reporting. This role is critical in supporting the firm's financial strategies and involves a range of responsibilities from internal controls to payroll processing.

Core Responsibilities:
• Internal Controls and Process Improvement: Develop, document, monitor, and ensure adherence to financial and accounting operating procedures and standards. Initiate ongoing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
• Finance System of Record: Maintain a comprehensive and accurate record of all financial transactions and data to facilitate effective reporting, compliance, and strategic decision-making. Ensure timely monthly close for accurate and prompt financial reporting.
• Insurance Management: Manage the procurement and administration of business insurance policies, including liability, property, and workers' compensation, to safeguard the firm against potential risks.
• Payroll Processing: Oversee the entire payroll process from data entry to disbursement. Ensure that all employees are paid accurately and on time, and that payroll practices comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Supervisory Responsibilities: Lead the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functions. Provide training, guidance, and support to team members to achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial management and accounting, preferably within the architecture or design industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and payroll systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership abilities and a team-oriented approach.
