WHO YOU ARE

The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in the accounting department that assists with the oversight of the financial health and operations of the brand. This role will report directly to the Director of Accounting. This individual will be responsible for assisting with overseeing financial operations, financial reporting, compliance and risk management, team leadership, financial analysis, audits and reviews, and support communication to executives, partners and other stakeholders.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Manage the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and support the organization's financial goals.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
  • Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve departmental goals.
  • Support internal and external audits, coordinating with auditors, and addressing any audit findings or recommendations.
  • Communicate financial information effectively to executives, partners, and other stakeholders to support decision-making and transparency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or finance or accounting degree
  • 5-10 years of previous work experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills Ability to work overtime when required.
  • Experience in a related industry (restaurant, franchise, national chains)
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and self-motivated learning abilities
  • Experience with MS Office 365/ Teams, Google, Dropbox, Zoom
