Background

  • Works under general supervision of the CFO to ensure the company’s financial obligations are recorded promptly and accurately in a c-GMP regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Perform a variety of tasks in the daily processing of accounting transactions that require the application of thorough knowledge of bookkeeping and a basic knowledge of accounting practices. Provide administrative support to ensure effective and efficient office operations.

Tasks

  • Complete daily cash application timely and accurately, both checks and wires/ACH
  • Reconcile domestic and foreign bank accounts on a daily basis and book journal entries as needed
  • Maintain AR and bank related general ledger accounts
  • Work with the rest of the Accounting team and Sales Support in collecting outstanding balances; assist with credit requests as needed
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a minimum of five years’ experience in accounting preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, reliable, proactive.
  • Team player. Good communication skills. Tech savvy in terms of being able to quickly learn the ERP system (Aptean Ross).
