Background

• Works under direct supervision of the Sanitation Supervisor in a GMP regulated manufacturing office environment operating under Q7A standards
• Tasks and duties are associated with maintaining all office areas, hallways, and general employee areas as well as restrooms and locker rooms.

Tasks

• Maintain cleanliness of office areas
• Clean floors using vacuum, mop and other general cleaning equipment for office areas, hallways, lobbies and the atrium
• Ensure restrooms and locker rooms are cleaned and stocked with appropriate supplies
• Empty all office area trash
• Clean the breakrooms which included maintaining the cleanliness of the floors and tables, as well as kitchen appliances
• Dust railings, windows and ledges, as well as lint and dust from vents
• Any other tasks deemed necessary by Management for the betterment of Jost operations

Specifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Must have janitorial or plant sanitation experience
• Knowledge of:
  1. Basic levels mathematics and English comprehension
  2. Working knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions necessary to perform duties assigned
  3. Basic knowledge and sanitation equipment and practices
• Ability to:
  1. Work in regular office temperatures with potential for cold and hot environment between buildings
  2. Comprehend oral and written English instruction
  3. Lift 50 pounds
  4. Follow established policies and procedures
  5. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees
  6. Learn new tasks quickly
  7. Exhibit manual dexterity, perceptual speed and extent flexibility
  8. Adapt to rapidly changing priorities based on business needs
  9. Pass pre-employment physical with drug screen and physical capabilities test
