We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk I in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be required to handle a wide range of tasks related to financial records, customer service, and accounting software. You will be working remotely with both internal and external customers, ensuring the smooth running of our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Compute, classify, and record numerical data to maintain complete financial records.
• Use specialized accounting software to debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases.
• Prepare and issue bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial statements following established procedures.
• Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records using journals, ledgers, or computers.
• Engage in heavy reconciliation tasks and collection processes, working directly with customers to ensure payment collection.
• Utilize skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with other related accounting software.
• Adhere to federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations related to accounting.
• Use Google Suite, including Gmail, Docs, and Sheets, for various tasks.
• Handle high volumes of data and manage time effectively.
• Work independently but also collaborate with a team when needed.• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to provide training on procedures and processes
• Experience with managing and processing invoices
• Knowledge of database management
• Familiarity with the 'About Time' software
• Experienced in performing reconciliations
• Understanding of collection processes
• Able to perform ad hoc financial tasks as required
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
• Proficiency in using spreadsheets for financial data
• Understanding of credit processes and financial statements
• Familiarity with company policies and procedures
• Experience in maintaining ledgers and understanding debit-credit transactions
• Proficient in using GMail for detail oriented communication
• Ability to maintain and manage financial records
• Experience with Pivot Table in Excel
• Ability to communicate effectively with external customers
• Excellent written communication skills
