Job Description
ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN
The Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation (APFC) is recruiting for an Accounting Technician to fill a full-time permanent position in our downtown Juneau Headquarters. This position reports to the Senior Accountant for Private Markets and primarily focuses on the extensive data and document management required for private market assets.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitors and organizes a high-volume shared email inbox
• Retrieves investment related documents from various sources including emails and
websites
• Enters key data points from documents into a variety of internal tools
• Maintains a complex filing system for storing documents
• Conducts data reconciliations between internal and external systems and data sets
• Prepares routine reports for Finance and Investment teams
• Assists with preparation of schedules and supporting documentation for annual audit
• Tracks and reviews audited financial statements
• Assists in cash flow processing
• Assists with opening bank accounts for new investments
• Codes and enters invoices for payment processing
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• High School diploma or GED
• Clerical work experience maintaining records that included using computer systems
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet program and Microsoft Word or similar
word processing program
