Century Group is looking to hire an Accounting Assistant for a great non-profit organization. This role is working in office 2-3 days each week with flexibility to work from home if desired. Duties include AP and AR, creating credit memos, creating bills and writing letters, scheduling, coordinating with vendors and partners and collaborating with internal partners to run a highly important program that supports healthy nutrition and fights hunger. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $27 to $30 per hour.

Job Description:
- Understand all aspects of the AP/AR processes
- Reconcile invoices against Purchase Orders and PODs to ensure no discrepancies have occurred
- Processing invoices and creating vendor bills
- Resolve and revise any posted errors made and create credit memos
- Verify invoices and credit memos are sent daily
- Exhibit proactive customer service with by responding to billing concerns or disputes and requesting missing paperwork
- Assess and track missing information to ensure invoicing packets are assembled in a timely manner
- Maintain fax drive and Finance e-mail address while assembling vendor invoices as needed

- Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
