MSCCN is hiring: OFFICE SECRETARY in Pittsburgh

Position Summary We are a Labor Union in Pittsburgh, PA looking for an Office Secretary to join our administrative team. The position is in-person, full-time (37.5 hrs./week, Monday-Friday) and provides support to our staff, primarily our business agents. In this role, you will help to organize, administrate and execute various contracting responsibilities. Responsibilities: Collaborate closely, coordinate and assist Business Agents with drafting, revising and executing documents, contracts, wage sheets and serves as point of contact for contractors. ```{=html} ``` - Monitor contract deadlines and maintain highly organized and detailed files for each contract, including all correspondence, amendments, clarifications, and other related information. ```{=html} ``` - Draft, type, and proofread letters, documents, articles, presentations and reports. ```{=html} ``` - Maintain and organize Contractor Database ```{=html} ``` - Gather, prepare and coordinate newsletters and social calendar information ```{=html} ``` - Miscellaneous duties include, but not limited to answering questions and requests via phone and email, filing, prepare and send agents mail, assembling member handbooks and other various office tasks. ```{=html} ``` - Work alongside other staff to provide general team support. Requirements: Exceptional communication skills, including grammar and proofreading Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Knowledge of Outlook and Adobe Pro including Adobe E-sign Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Must be self-motivated. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information Must be willing to take skills tests. Compensation: $20.00 per hour plus full-time benefits package. Total Package: $44.53/hr Expected hours: 37.5 hrs per week Job Start Date: After the new year
