Job Description: Established Educational Law firm in Central Los Angeles (Miracle Mile) seeks an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to join their collegial team of results-oriented practitioners. The ideal Litigation Secretary will provide support to multiple attorneys and will work independently, anticipate needs, maintain high level of confidentiality, and demonstrate professionalism. This Litigation Secretary possesses 3+ years of experience, preferably within Educational Law.Litigation Secretary Job Duties:1. Possess extensive experience in e-filing across administrative, state, and federal courts.2. Draft, proofread, and edit correspondence.3. Interact and communicate with clients, courts, and attorneys.4. Demonstrate knowledge of court rules and civil procedures in State and Federal jurisdictions.5. Use Juralaw and other electronic court rule programs for legal calendaring.6. Manage multiple calendars, appointments, and travel arrangements.7. Produce and manage documents and files.8. Prepare travel and expense reimbursements.Litigation Secretary Qualifications:- High school diploma or GED; preferred: Associates/Bachelor's degree- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Coyote timekeeping, and DMS (iManage) or similar software- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a litigation secretary, handling multiple attorneys- Knowledge with transactional law and administrative hearing procedures preferred
