Qualifications:
- Education Level: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED), Associates Degree preferred
- Certification: None
- Experience Desired: Minimum of 3 years experience in a clerical or business/finance role
Performance Responsibilities:
- Must be able to type at an acceptable rate with good grammatical structure

- Register/Enroll 5th-6th grade students in seated or virtual instruction using our digital enrollment process
- Maintain all student records, to include withdrawals, transfers, attendance, discipline, grade reporting student placement and all matters reportable through Core Data.
- Provide assistance in the creation and preparation of the master schedule
- Manage and monitor visitors in building through the Raptor system
- Serve as message center for all staff, parents, patrons and vendors and direct information appropriately
- Must be able to collect, count, distribute money and prepare building bank deposits as needed
- Assist building principal with organizing and coordinating building events, special projects, fundraisers and district initiatives
- Manage and troubleshoot all building copier issues
- Manage and monitor the building security camera system
- Maintain building keys and check out procedures
- Assist with preparing and directing phone tree procedures
- Provide areas of support for nurses, food service, ISS, bus duty and lunch duty
- Assist with data collection of student assessment data (DRA, NWEA) for digital imports
- Support other school buildings with clerical help as needed
- Assist with Social Media, yearbook and publications
- Cross train with other clerical staff in the building
- Assist staff and building administrator with ordering materials and supplies
- Prepare and reconcile vendor invoices and credit card statements for payment
- Manage and reconcile building budgets and student activity accounts
- Assist in compiling annual building inventory
- Track and assist staff with end of year check out procedures
- Manage employee time clock and employee absences through district software programs as well as communicate with Human Resources and Payroll as needed
- Oversee substitute management program for the building
- Maintain petty cash in accordance with Board policy
- Process first class and inter-school mail and distribute to staff accordingly
- Assist building administrator with disseminating information via physical or electronic mail
- Prepare and make verbal announcements as needed
- Assist with other duties as assigned
