Summary/Objective
Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team.
Essential Functions
- Applies basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, practices, and procedures
- Supports, monitors, tests, and troubleshoots hardware and software cybersecurity problems pertaining to the enclave environment
- Actions are usually authorized and controlled by policies and established procedures
- Works under general supervision and typically reports to cybersecurity IAT or IAM Level II or above manager/government cyber manager
- Education: Associates in STEM / Cyber-related field or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Acceptable alternative: Associates Degree in other than STEM / Cyber-related field with 3 years DoD cyber technical experience and knowledge demonstrated in missile defense related or other complex, large DoD programs / projects
- Experience: At least 0-4 years of cyber technical experience
- IAT I Certification prior to accepting position
- Must have technical certification or 1 year of experience with McAfee Endpoint Security, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Splunk, and / or experience implementing network / enclave / system security toolsets with experience reviewing technical assessment reports and prioritizing technical corrective actions. Must achieve certification in required tools within 6 months of position acceptance
- Acceptable alternative experience: Experience in technical review / management / assessment of Software, Cloud, Firewalls, Network Defense, Ports, Protocols, and Services Management, and / or DevSecOps
