As a Dining Services Cook at Christian Care Centers, Inc, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and dietary restrictions. You will collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely meal delivery and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment. Additionally, you will assist with inventory management and adhere to food safety regulations to guarantee high-quality service for our residents. What you need to be successful
  • To excel as a Dining Services Cook at Christian Care Centers, Inc, candidates should possess a High School Diploma (Preferred).
  • Previous vocational or on-the-job training experience in a quality food service operation preferred.
  • The role requires ongoing education in dietary procedures, food safety regulations, and guidelines related to food production.
  • A food handlers permit and a food manager certification approved by the State of Texas are required.
  • A minimum of three months of dietary experience in a commercial kitchen setting is required, with a preference for at least one year of experience.
  • Strong communication skills in English, the ability to follow instructions effectively, and reliable transportation for timely arrival at work are also essential for success in this role.
