ComResource is hiring: Backend Services Developer in Cincinnati

ComResource is looking for a Backend Services Developer.

Responsibilities:

• Implement new features while ensuring the overall quality of software
• Document and share technical knowledge, contributing to a culture of learning
• Engage in developer communities of practice by following best practices and participating in code reviews
• Stay current with technology trends and assist in researching and resolving customer issues
• Other duties as assigned

Essentials:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience
• Application Development experience
• Aurora PostgreSQL experience
• Microservices Development experience
• Spring Application Development experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design and development principles
• Proficiency in Java (8 or above) and experience with the Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• Familiarity with version control solutions, preferably Git/GitHub
• Experience with Docker and relational databases (SQL)
• Knowledge of Gradle and microservice design principles

Desired:

• Experience with AWS services, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Terraform
• Familiarity with Application Performance Monitoring/Logging software (e.g., Dynatrace, Splunk)
