Job Overview
As a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will lead recruitment efforts to source top talent, playing a pivotal role in shaping strategies that drive business success while ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you'll champion hiring initiatives that directly fuel Cortland's growth and success.
This is an on-site position based in our Atlanta office.
Roles You Will Play
The Recruitment Strategist
* Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager to develop, promote, and advocate for world-class hiring experiences for candidates and business partners
* Use a variety of channels and tools to identify and engage candidates for corporate positions, building diverse and robust talent pipelines
* Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, align on recruitment plans, and provide regular updates on progress
* Leverage talent analytics and market insights to help guide recruitment efforts and make informed decisions that align with business objectives
* Suggest new and creative methods for attracting talent, particularly for hard-to-fill or niche corporate roles
* Leverage data to create actionable recruitment plans to meet short- and long-term hiring needs
The Business Partner
* Engage with hiring managers and department leaders to understand talent needs, providing consultative support throughout the recruitment process
* Manage the candidate lifecycle from sourcing through to onboarding, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for both candidates and business stakeholders
* Partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager to align recruitment strategies with broader organizational goals and to ensure timely and effective hiring decisions
The Brand Champion
* Promote the Cortland brand in the corporate talent market, acting as a key point of contact for potential candidates and enhancing Cortland's employer brand
* Collaborate with cross-functional groups to ensure job postings and digital recruitment campaigns attract top-tier talent
* Represent Cortland at industry conferences, career fairs, and professional events to source and engage with potential corporate hires

* Identify and present a caliber of candidates that inspires managers and supports business level initiatives.
* Drive recruitment processes that foster positive and engaging experiences for candidates, strengthening our employer brand in the market.
* Help fuel Cortland's growth by securing the talent needed to achieve strategic goals.
Building Blocks of Success
* 5+ years of experience in high-volume, high-growth recruiting environments, specializing in Technology, Accounting, and/or Finance functions.
* Proven ability to collaborate with hiring managers and leaders to understand needs and craft tailored recruitment strategies.
* Proficient in recruitment tools like iCIMS and LinkedIn Recruiter, with expertise in digital sourcing techniques.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships and offering consultative support to business partners.
* Skilled in using data and analytics to guide recruitment strategies and decision-making.
* Deep understanding of diversity and inclusion principles, with experience building diverse candidate pipelines.
* Ability to create impactful recruitment marketing strategies, communications, and innovative sourcing solutions.
* Reliable in handling sensitive and confidential information, ensuring compliance with legal requirements in recruitment record management.
* Desire to work in a collaborative, highly communicative, in-office setting.
