Primary Therapist needed for full-time, temp to hire position in Philadelphia County.
The Primary Therapist will provide direct and indirect care to individuals with co-occurring disorders, including trauma history. Responsibilities include individual counseling, group psychoeducation, family therapy, assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and referrals. The therapist ensures timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and local regulations and maintains professional, ethical interactions with staff and clients.
Additional duties include participating in training for professional growth and delivering community education programs on mental health and substance abuse.
Position Requirements
MSW with at least 2 years of therapy experience, preferably in inpatient settings, is required. Strong skills in communication, case management, crisis intervention, and confidentiality are essential.
