Summary: Responsible for performing clerical and administrative support functions.--Starting pay $ 10.75/hour minimum and $15.00 maximum-relevant experience is considered
Receptionist Tasks: Communicates with consumers and the public by telephone and in person. Answers and operates the program's telephone system. Screens and directs incoming calls and persons coming to the program without an appointment. Answers general questions regarding the program and the Center. Schedules appointments for consumers (and staff as assigned by supervisor). Maintains an updated program and emergency telephone numbers list. Receives, dates, sorts, and distributes mail as assigned. May be assigned a cash box for making change and/or a petty cash fund. Operates and oversees the maintenance of office machines. Will work evening clinic according to program schedule.
Consumer Services: May contact consumers who have failed appointments for follow-up. Ensures that visit tickets are produced for each consumer service and that the consumer signs that he/she received the service. Collects consumer payments on accounts and produces a receipt. Ensures consumer rights are observed. May assist with crisis intervention, as appropriate. Ensures consumer safety. Reports and documents incidents. Connects consumer to the appropriate clinical staff during appointments.
Computer Skills: Operates a computer. May be required to type a minimum of 40 words per minute. Prepares correspondence and/or reports as assigned by program staff. May type from transcribing devices. May type and format reports, compose emails, and enter data into computer. Relied upon to systematically make spelling corrections.
Consumer Records: Maintains consumer records as assigned. Ensures that consumer record information is protected and kept confidential. Files and retrieves records. information in consumer records. Ensures that administrative reviews are completed on a timely basis. Completes administrative reviews and service audits. Ensures that administrative forms are completed and updated as indicated. Assists in obtaining necessary signatures on Center forms. Tracks location of records. Prepares records prior to Clinic.
Management of Information Systems: Operates and makes timely updates to the Center's information management system, including front desk, and electronic medical records. Ensures that information entered in is current and entered on a timely basis. Operates other data management systems as assigned. Graphs training and behavioral data, as assigned. May enter staff billing, payee sources, and consumer information. Responsible for clocking work time daily and clocking leave taken.

Skills & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Typing skills required. Previous clerical experience, highly preferred.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
- Must meet conditional employment requirements.
- Must be able to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
- Dependability is a key requirement for this position.
- Communicate specifically and with respect to all staff and consumers.
- Flexible scheduling for evening clinic as scheduled
- Provide coverage at other clinic locations when needed.
