Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in office administration and data entry and possess strong organizational skills. Excellent customer service skills to greet and direct all individuals and visitors; verify insurance information and enter it into the EHR; notify staff of individuals when they arrive.


Duties:

- Provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office

- Assist with order entry and data entry tasks

- Maintain office files and records accurately

- Handle incoming calls and emails professionally

- Assist individuals

- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, and mailing

- Other job duties as tasked

Skills:

- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a related role

- Multitask in a fast-paced office environment

- Answer calls professionally and transfer appropriately if needed

- Detail oriented

- Reliable

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize task

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work pleasantly and cooperatively with various people, including individuals, co-workers, the public, and officials.

Ability to function calmly in stressful situations.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of work experience in an office environment and client services.

Experience with insurance (Medicare, Medicaid, Private) preferred.
