Description
Under general supervision, perform full-performance level work in multiple-step clerical tasks calling for interpretation and application of office procedures, rules, and regulations. Performs related work as required and other duties as assigned. This is a full-time position with state benefits.
Job Duties
Maintains, processes, sorts, and files documents numerically, alphabetically, or according to other predetermined classification criteria; reviews files for data and collects information or statistics such as materials used or attendance information. Answers phone, screen calls, takes messages and complaints; gives. general information to callers when possible, and specific information whenever possible.
Qualifications
Training: Graduation form a standard high school or the equivalent.
Experience: Two years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in routine office work.
Substitution: College hours, related business school, or vocational training may be substituted through an established formula for the required experience.
Special Requirements: A successful background check.

Retirement Plan:
- As WV public employees, all full-time public employees are required to participate with the Public Employees Retirement Plan, regulated by the Consolidated Public Retirement Board. Employees hired on or after July 1, 2015 will be members of the PERS II plan, contributing 6% of their gross monthly salary.
