Overview:

Administer direct care to patients. Draw blood, collect specimens, prepare exam rooms, answer phones, file, computer skills, take vitals, check pain levels.



Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • EKG testing and phlebotomy experience required
  • 6 months minimum experience
  • High School Diploma or GED/TASC required
  • Medical Office Assistants require clerical skills and the ability to type 35 WPM
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required
  • Successful completion of course in Medical Assisting from an accredited school
  • CMA or RMA preferred

Schedule

  • Most positions are in hospitals, nursing homes, and ambulatory settings. These facilities are open 24 hours/7 days each week.
  • General shift availability:
    • Days (7a-3p or 8a-4p)
    • Evenings (3p-11p or 4p-12a)
    • Nights (11p-7a or 12a-8a)
  • Every other weekend is usually required for all positions.

COVID-19 vaccination is required.
