CK Power is looking for an Assistant Production Supervisor at our St. Louis, MO location. You will assist the Production Manager in all production processes and procedures. You’ll take charge of the shift in the Production Manager’s absence. You’ll assist the Production Manager in maintaining daily production paperwork and monitoring daily production operations, and inform the Production Manager of potential issues. You’ll train production employees when necessary or required. You’ll perform the same labor functions as production technicians when required.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist the Production Manager in observing daily operations and report any new developments or concerns.
• Assist the Production Manager in all production processes and procedures.
• Oversee production to identify any production or equipment issues.
• Assist in maintaining production documentation.
• Train new personnel on existing production protocol, safety, and facility equipment.
• Enforce all company employee, facility, health & safety policies and procedures.
• Oversee Lead personnel.
• Regularly coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, and other support departments to ensure productive and efficient operations.
• Perform production technician functions as needed.
•  Keep aware of all jobs on production and ensure quality is the priority on all jobs.

What You’ll Need:

• 3-5 years of mechanical, assembly, and electrical experience.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Independent thinking.
• Flexible; able to change direction with ease.
• Able to problem-solve common technical problems.
• Quality-oriented mindset.
• Self-directed; able to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• High level of discretion, confidentiality, and work ethics
• High school diploma or equivalent.

What Helps:

• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• A technical school certificate in a related field is a plus.
