Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Production Manager in planning and scheduling all entertainment and activities on board a cruise ship
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth execution of all shows and events
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of production staff, including performers, technicians, and other crew members
- Monitor and maintain inventory of all production equipment and supplies
- Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed during rehearsals and performances
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote upcoming shows and events
- Conduct regular evaluations and provide feedback to production staff to improve performance and maintain high-quality standards
- Assist with budget management and cost control measures
- Handle any guest complaints or concerns related to production and entertainment activities
- Stay updated on industry trends and make recommendations for new and innovative entertainment ideas
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Theater, Performing Arts, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in production management, preferably in the entertainment industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of technical aspects of production, including lighting, sound, and stage management
- Experience in budget management and cost control
- Willingness to work irregular hours and travel as needed
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary travel documents for international travel
