AtWork Personnel Services is hiring: Production Lead in Rancho Cordova

Our team is looking to hire a Production Expeditor.

Monday - Friday Day shift

Key Responsibilities

• Expediting Orders and Materials: Monitor production schedules, expedite material orders, and address delays to ensure timely availability of materials, components, and equipment required for production.
• Production Coordination: Collaborate with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to prioritize work orders, address shortages, and resolve issues impacting production flow.
• Inventory and Materials Tracking: Track material availability, manage inventory levels, and update stakeholders on the status of materials to ensure production continuity.
• Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Communicate with suppliers to confirm delivery schedules, expedite critical materials, and resolve delivery issues. Work with procurement to address vendor-related challenges.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of expediting activities, material shortages, and production timelines. Prepare reports and updates on production status for management.
• Problem Solving: Identify potential production bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions to keep production on schedule.
• Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement process improvements in material handling, inventory control, and expediting processes to optimize production efficiency.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or supply chain role, with a focus on expediting or material handling.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or coursework in supply chain management, production, or a related field preferred.
