As a Production Manager at Flexpak, you will be at the forefront of our daily production operations, ensuring our high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency are met. You'll lead and inspire a talented team, driving performance and creating a positive, customer-centric culture. Your expertise will ensure seamless production processes, helping us maintain our reputation for delivering superior packaging solutions to our valued clients.
Responsibilities
•Provide leadership: Lead by setting clear expectations, offering guidance, and ensuring your team meets production goals while maintaining customer satisfaction.
•Set high standards: Establish and maintain standards for performance, appearance, and customer service, fostering a culture of excellence.
•Monitor performance: Track and report daily KPIs to management, using data to drive improvements and ensure production targets are achieved.
•Ensure safety: Oversee compliance with OSHA standards, maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
•Preventative maintenance: Implement and manage an accurate preventative maintenance program for production equipment.
•Team development: Evaluate team performance, offering coaching, feedback, and guidance to support continuous improvement.
•Drive efficiency: Identify opportunities for process improvements, ensuring adherence to production procedures.
•Inventory management: Ensure compliance with inventory protocols, including material transfers and bin locations.
•Quality assurance: Maintain quality standards for all projects, conducting QA inspections.
•Production scheduling: Build and manage daily production schedules, coordinating staff and resources to meet project deadlines.
•Team training: Instruct and train employees on new projects and procedures, promoting skill development and growth.
•Monitor machine rates: Ensure machine rates are optimized to meet production efficiency goals and adjust operations as necessary to improve output.
Qualifications
•Proven leadership experience in a production environment.
•Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
•Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
•A demonstrated ability to lead teams and work well under pressure.
•Bilingual in Spanish and English is not required, but it is a plus.
