Position – Production Supervisor
Location – Dallas, TX
Pay Rate - $28/hour
Shift Timings – 9:00am to 5:00pm (Monday to Friday)
Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to manage and oversee the daily operations on the production floor. The ideal candidate will ensure that production goals are met efficiently and safely, while maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to production schedules. The role involves direct supervision of production personnel, troubleshooting production issues, and coordinating operations to meet targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production team, ensuring that all personnel follow established processes and procedures.
- Provide leadership and direction to production staff, ensuring they are motivated, well-trained, and working efficiently.
- Allocate and assign tasks to production workers, ensuring proper coverage across shifts and functions.
- Ensure that daily production schedules are followed and production targets are met.
- Monitor production progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Ensure that production processes are compliant with quality standards, industry regulations, and company policies
- Prepare and submit regular production reports to upper management regarding progress, issues, and KPIs.
- Monitor individual and team performance, providing feedback, coaching, and corrective actions as necessary.
- Foster a positive working environment focused on teamwork, safety, and efficiency.
- Conduct performance reviews and assist with employee development through training and mentoring.
- Address employee concerns and conflicts promptly and professionally.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar leadership role in a manufacturing or production environment (minimum 3-5 years preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of production processes, equipment, and safety standards.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
