Role Overview:

We are seeking a driven and resourceful Sales Manager who will play a pivotal role in our business development efforts. This role focuses on identifying and engaging US-based companies and tech teams in need of software engineering talent, while collaborating with our recruiting team to match the right offshore candidates with the open roles. The ideal candidate combines strong lead generation and business development skills with a solid understanding of recruiting processes and tech roles.

Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Business Development:

  • Identify and qualify US-based companies and teams actively looking to augment their software engineering teams with offshore talent.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients through research, networking, cold outreach, and attending industry events.
  • Develop and execute outreach strategies to connect with decision-makers, including CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and HR leaders.
  • Present our staffing solutions effectively, addressing client needs and showcasing the value of offshore team augmentation.

Recruitment Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the internal recruiting team to vet offshore candidates and ensure they meet the technical and cultural requirements of client roles.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and the recruiting team, facilitating smooth communication and alignment.
  • Provide insights on client expectations, job requirements, and market trends to optimize candidate sourcing strategies.
  • Participate in candidate interviews as needed to evaluate fit and present qualified options to clients.

Reporting & Relationship Management:

  • Track and report on lead generation, outreach activities, and client engagement metrics.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction with our services and identifying opportunities for ongoing collaboration.
  • Provide feedback to improve sales and recruiting processes, ensuring a seamless client and candidate experience.

Requirements

  • Prior experience at a tech recruiting agency is highly desired.
  • Proven experience in sales, lead generation, or business development, preferably in the staffing, tech, or B2B services industries.
  • Strong understanding of the software engineering landscape, including common roles, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and lead management systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with recruiting teams to align client needs with candidate qualifications.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and highly organized.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, HR, or a related field (preferred).
