Our Fabrication Division is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for their operations in Romeoville, which include key manufacturing processes such as Laser cutting, Bending, Welding, Tapping, and CNC Lathe.

JOB DUTIES
  • Review job packets.
  • Create in-process-inspection plans
  • Enters transfer orders to return excess material to the branches.
  • Responds to customer service emails regarding ship dates & inventory check.
  • Enter buy backs for quality discrepancies
  • Adjusts inventory count on the floor according to part numbers.
  • Investigates order discrepancies.
  • Back up for scheduling shipments/trucks.
  • Serves as a backup for creating/modifying routers.
  • Vendor returns
  • Print full size layouts
  • Monitor movement & close transactions of raw & FG transfers
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • This position requires a High School education but a College degree is preferred
  • Working knowledge and experience with an MRP/ERP system a plus
  • CAD/SolidWorks experience
  • Interpret drawings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and email
  • Ability to make decisions and problem solve manufacturing issues
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of manufacturing experience preferred
