The Manufacturing Engineer for Cytiva is responsible of providing support to manufacturing and packaging operations to assure continuous efficiency. Ensures overall process performance to design capability. Provide effective engineering services to production, test and packaging machinery. Also, assist in the design and implementation plans for cost reduction, quality improvements, process support and verification.


This position is part of the Manufacturing Operations located in Cytiva Fajardo Puerto Rico and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.


What you will do:


+ Assist in the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and product quality.


+ Support multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project goals.


+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturing operations.


+ Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, ISO, and GMP regulations relative to manufacturing operations.


+ Prepare and maintain documentation related to manufacturing processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.


Who you are:


+ Bachelors Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.


+ Cero (0) to two (2) years in the manufacturing environment, preferably Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industries.


+ Good oral and written communication skills (English and Spanish).


+ Computer Literate (Microsoft Office, Project Management, Statistics)


+ Knowledge in Statistical Process Control (SPC).


Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:


+ Ability to travel N/A


+ Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record N/A


+ Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25lb, any other physical requirements


It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:


+ Excellent skills in problem solving and critical thinking techniques.


+ Develop solutions to routine technical problem of limited scope.


This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
