The Manufacturing Engineer will be located in Deland, Florida, and is responsible for installing, modifying, troubleshooting, repairing, and dismantling machinery and equipment according to requisition-established documentation (e.g., SOPs), layout plans, blueprints, or other drawings. Essential Job Functions: Assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and/or electrical/electronic systems to make sub-assemblies, assemblies, or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and miscellaneous equipment. A ct as a technical expert supporting the Deland product portfolio. Lead cost reduction programs as delegated. Identify and implement appropriate safe working practices & methods. Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen, TPM, OEE, SMED, Root Cause Analysis, Value, and successful implementation of lean manufacturing techniques Stream Mapping, 7 Ways, 5 Whys, etc.). Requirements: A degree in Mechanical Engineering or other similar engineering subject areas or equivalent experience. Experience working in a medium to low-volume manufacturing environment. Experience identifying and driving Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) methodologies and waste reduction initiatives. Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques is a plus. Knowledge of CAD software is desired. The salary range for this role is $75k - $90k . This is the range that we, in good faith, believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
