BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Technician (Evening) for an opportunity in Chandler, AZ! 

Position Title: Manufacturing Technician (Evening) 

Location: Chandler, AZ        

Shift Hours: 6:00pm - 6:00am

Shift Days: Wednesday - Friday and every other Saturday 

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 6+ months

Job Type: FULL TIME 40 hours a week, CONTRACT, ONSITE

Pay Range: [$24/hr] – [$26/hr]        

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Job Description:  

Operates complex equipment and analytical tools, processes, state of the art 12'' silicon wafers in a clean room environment, which requires appropriate gowning. Technicians are gowned in a gore suit that covers them from head to toe as they perform their work duties. Multi-tasked responsibilities may include minor preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, non-standard processing and problem-solving.

Minimum Qualifications:

·         AA degree (technical discipline) + 1 year work experience in Semiconductor cleanroom

OR meet one of these qualifications:

·         Minimum 3-year work experience in Semiconductor cleanroom

·         Minimum 3-year work experience in production with a focus on utilizing computers/software.

Candidate must be willing to:

·         Work in a clean room environment and wear the proper clean room attire.

·         Wear a full-body gore suit (gowning) to prevent contamination while working with delicate silicon wafers

·         Comfortable working 12-hour shifts, which may require flexibility in terms of working days, nights, or weekends.

·         Perform job roles and responsibilities while wearing personal protective equipment PPE.

·         Work from heights and climb ladders.

·         Must be willing to think critically and find solutions in a manufacturing setting.

·         Operate a PIT forklift, pallet jack and spend a considerable part of your day working in a mobile environment.

·         Multitask issues and carry a team duty phone.

·         Must be comfortable wearing a respirator.
