About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our team at Protec Arisawa America, Inc. in Vista, CA. As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process and ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. Your main goal will be to improve the manufacturing process and reduce scrap, while maintaining the highest level of quality.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and statistical process control
- Experience with machining, machine tools, and CNC programming
- Experience with process control and new product introduction
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
- Experience in the durable goods manufacturing industry
- Experience with scrap reduction and process optimization
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes that are efficient, cost-effective, and meet all quality standards
- Ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget
- Identify areas for improvement in the manufacturing process and develop solutions to address them
- Collaborate with other departments, to ensure that all products meet customer specifications
- Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with safety regulations and guidelines
Skills:
As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will be using your strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and statistical process control to develop and implement efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes. You will also be using your experience with machining, machine tools, and CNC programming to ensure that all products meet customer specifications. Additionally, you will be using your experience with process control and new product introduction to identify areas for improvement in the manufacturing process and develop solutions to address them.
