Position Summary

Dusts and mopsfloors.
Vacuums carpets.
Empties trashreceptacles and trash bags for proper disposal.
Locks doors aftercleaning areas.
Performsmiscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Maintain punctual scheduled employment arrival times.
Maintain a neatand professional appearance and demeanor.
Availability towork flexible hours over a period of two semesters (minimum).
Strict adherenceto departmental, University of New Mexico and related policies andprocedures.
Required to takeall pertinent UNM annual safety tests/classes.

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to carry out detailed tasks.
Ability to understand and follow safetyprocedures.
Ability to understand verbal instructions.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to lift and manipulate heavyobjects.
Ability to operate vacuums and otherrelated equipment.
Ability to work independently aftertraining is complete.
