Dental One Associates is growing and we're excited to welcome another Dental Hygienist to our amazing team, located in Annapolis, MD 21401. This is a full-time position working Tues-Thur (8:00-5:00) and Fri (8:00-2:00).

Dental One Associates is a well-established, successful, multi doctor practice, where we truly value our hygienists and the important role they play in our success. To ensure our hygienists get off to a successful start, the candidate we hire will go through a short training program, so when they begin to see patients, they will feel confident and comfortable in their new position within our team. Great for new grads!
Previous experience working as a hygienist is always great, but we also encourage new hygiene grads to apply as well. The Hygienist we hire is required to have an active hygiene license for the state of MD. New Hygiene grads must be applying for license soon.
Responsibilities
- Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times
- Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.
- Patient screening, medical history and dental charting.
- Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.
- Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Active Hygiene license for the state of Maryland
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
