About the job

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with Telemetry experience to join our team at a 30-bed stroke and urology unit. You will play an essential role in providing patient care, monitoring conditions, and coordinating with healthcare teams. This role is based in Waco, TX, with a 3-month contract offering great opportunities for growth and experience in a fast-paced environment.

What youll be doing:

• Implementing and monitoring patient care plans.
• Serving as the primary coordinator for all patient care disciplines to ensure seamless, well-coordinated care.
• Monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions and carrying out physician and nursing orders.
• Assessing and coordinating patient discharge planning with the healthcare team.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry experience.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification.
• NIH (The National Institutes of Health) Stroke Scale Certification.
• Ability to work onsite and commit to a 3-month contract.
• Eligible candidates must be either US Citizens or Green Card holders.
• Two professional references required.
