Location: Dallas, TX

Shift: 12 HR Nights

Shift Per Week: 3

Scheduled Hours: 36

Shift Start Time: 07:00 PM

Shift End Time: 07:00 AM

Minimum Rate Per Hour: $32

Maximum Rate Per Hour: $53

Job Summary:

Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Neuro ICU, where you will provide care for high-acuity patients, including non-trauma neurosurgical cases, strokes, specialized spine surgeries, neurovascular surgeries, and seizures. Our 15-bed unit is a Certified Comprehensive Stroke facility, offering patient ratios of 1:2. You'll be part of a supportive environment with access to onsite nurse practitioners, stroke coordinators, and educators. Our leadership team is committed to hands-on support and fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional development.

Neuro ICU Overview:

  • Patient Population: Non-trauma neurosurgical patients, strokes, specialized spine, neurovascular surgeries, and seizures.
  • Patient Ratios: 1:2
  • Department Specifics: 15 Beds, Certified Comprehensive Stroke facility, Unit-based practice council, Onsite nurse practitioners, stroke coordinators, and educator. Leadership team with "all hands-on deck."

What You Will Do:

  • Provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment for Neuro ICU patients.
  • Collaborate with an inter-professional team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to the units continuous improvement initiatives.

Registered Nurse Requirements:

  • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
  • License/Certification:
  • RN Registered Nurse with Neuro ICU Experience.
  • BLS Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire).
