Job Description

Job Description
- Provide thorough Housekeeping service.
- Stock and maintain housekeeping areas.
- Lifting is mandatory
- Empty vacuum cleaner bags daily, or as needed to maintain the equipment.
- Report all Engineering discrepancies found in rooms in Alice
- Use all chemicals, and equipment properly, to ensure safety and OSHA compliance.
- Report all needles, blood, and other bodily fluids found to Supervisor.
- Clean windows on the inside and outside as needed.
- Remove all trash daily from any Suite/Cabin assigned.
- Complete VIP rooms, then checkouts and stay-over rooms, unless requested otherwise.
- Maintain supply of fresh linens, amenities, stationery, glassware, etc., in lodges in accordance with Department Guidelines.
- Keep areas free of debris and F&B service trays during course of the day.
- Assist other Room Attendants & staff when asked to do so.
- Turn in all lost and found items recovered from guestrooms to Housekeeping Manager.
- Responsibilities may include other duties as assigned.
- Review daily assignment sheet and update completed assignments. Check with supervisor for additional assignments throughout the shift..
- Monitor and maintain designated supply levels.
- Maintain and monitor cleanliness of work areas.
- Assist housekeeping staff as assigned.Engage each guest with a smile and appropriate greeting, using the guest’s name whenever appropriate. Graciously accommodate guest requests.
- Make suggestions for improvement in overall operations with an emphasis on increasing guest satisfaction, revenue and cost reduction.
- Demonstrate and uphold Auberge Resorts Core Standards at all times.
- Work in accordance with hotel and departmental safety standards.
- Use all hotel equipment safely and properly.
- Participate in and support hotel and company efforts towards sustainability and environmental initiatives as part of the Planet Auberge program
- Inspect and report any maintenance issues or damages in guest rooms to ensure prompt resolution.
- Ensure compliance with hotel cleanliness standards and policies in all assigned areas.
Required
- Three month's experience in similar position.
- High school graduate or equivalent vocational training.
