Job DescriptionStep into the forefront of hospitality as our Housekeeping Manager, where your meticulous eye for detail and leadership skills will ensure impeccable cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Leading our housekeeping team, you'll orchestrate a symphony of cleanliness, setting the stage for memorable guest experiences and elevating our establishment's reputation for excellence.
You will be responsible for running of all aspects of the Housekeeping department, including forecasting and budgeting, laundry, guest rooms, front and back of the house areas to ensure adherence with cleanliness, sanitation and health/safety procedures.
- Supervise and lead the housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management, to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the property, conducting inspections and implementing procedures to uphold cleanliness standards
- Manage housekeeping supplies and equipment, including ordering, stocking, and inventory control, to ensure adequate supplies for daily operations.
- Maintain close and efficient communication with maintenance team and management, in order to ensure that the hotel product is constantly kept at an excellent condition.
- Address guest concerns or complaints related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction and resolving issues promptly.
- Develop and manage the housekeeping department budget, monitoring expenses, labor costs, and purchasing to optimize efficiency and meet financial goals.
- Previous experience managing a team of housekeeping employees is preferred or several years of experience in housekeeping roles, with progressively increasing responsibilities, demonstrating expertise in cleaning procedures, staff supervision, and quality control.
- Working knowledge of rooms management systems (Opera, Alice).
- Advanced knowledge of Housekeeping process and procedures.
- Computer literate and working Knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Superb organization and communication skills.
- Reliability, diligence, dedication and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team, foster a positive work environment, and achieve departmental goals.

- Appearance must be clean and professional with a cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Position requires interactions with Guests and well as with members of staff and the management team.
- Able to work on a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to departmental and operational needs.
