We're searching for a housekeeping supervisor with exceptional people skills who is enthusiastic and courteous to make sure our hotel guests have a wonderful stay. We require a multi-talented person capable of handling a wide range of duties. Responsibilities for this position include keeping hotel public areas clean such as hallways, meeting rooms, and lobbies. Additionally, you will help deliver guest-requested items such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, and bedding, and perform any specially assigned tasks by housekeeping managers.

Responsibilities
•Supervise housekeeping staff to ensure all hotel rooms, public areas, and back-of-the-house areas meet Marriott standards of cleanliness and service.
•Conduct daily briefings to assign tasks and review the day's objectives with housekeeping, maintenance, and housemen.
•Perform daily inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and monitor compliance with established safety protocols.
•Address guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping, ensuring prompt and courteous responses.
•Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as front office and maintenance, to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
•Train, mentor, and motivate housekeeping staff to maintain the highest standards of service.
•Assist management with adequate staffing levels.
•Ensure proper use and care of housekeeping supplies, equipment, and linens.
•Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and submit requests for replenishments as needed.
•Monitor and control labor and cleaning supplies.
•Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations.
•Assist with hiring, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions for housekeeping staff.
•Transport clean linen to the housekeeping storage rooms and replenish linen supplies on each floor
•Check all allocated floors at the start of each shift and during the day to collect garbage, soiled linen, and other items as directed by management
•Deliver requested amenities such as rollaway beds, cribs, blankets, etc. to guest rooms
•Assure a clean environment in the guest rooms, corridors, lobby, and other work areas
•Anticipate, listen intently, and respond quickly to visitors' requirements to provide the best quality of service
Qualifications
•This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
•Must have 1 or more years experience as a houseperson, housekeeper, or similar position in hospitality field
•Good understanding of cleaning techniques and products
•High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
•Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills
