As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable guest experiences! You'll lead a dynamic team of housekeeping associates, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are met and exceeded, while working closely with other departments to guarantee a seamless guest journey. Your leadership will directly contribute to the hotel's success by preparing room assignments, overseeing room readiness, and keeping everything running smoothly and efficiently!
Key Responsibilities & Performance:
Lead and Collaborate: Coordinate with other departments to deliver exceptional, timely service, meeting established standards and enhancing guest satisfaction.
Empower Your Team: Provide coaching and constructive feedback to housekeeping associates, helping them grow and ensuring top-notch service delivery.
Ensure Excellence: Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms and public spaces, ensuring they meet the brand's cleanliness and quality standards.
Drive Efficiency: Forecast staffing and supply needs, making sure that scheduling and ordering are aligned with business demands, while keeping costs under control.
Supervise Daily Operations: Manage the opening and closing of the housekeeping department, delegating tasks and overseeing daily operations to ensure everything runs like clockwork.
Lost & Found Champion: Oversee the Lost & Found process, ensuring items are tracked, returned, and guests are promptly updated.
Safety & Sanitation: Promote and uphold a culture of safety, sanitation, and security throughout the hotel, ensuring a secure and clean environment for both guests and staff.
Scheduling Master: Assist in scheduling associates based on business needs, ensuring appropriate coverage while maintaining efficiency.
Hands-On Leadership: Lead daily stand-up meetings with your team to set the tone for the day and ensure goals are met.
Maintain High Standards: Operate laundry equipment to ensure linens are cleaned and pressed to perfection, while keeping the work area safe and organized.
Keep Things Safe: Follow all company policies and safety procedures, reporting any concerns promptly to leadership to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
Required Experience: At least 6 months of housekeeping or related experience.
Preferred Experience: Experience in hospitality is a big plus!
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Technology: Basic computer skills will be helpful.
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs regularly.
Comfortable bending, squatting, and walking or standing for extended periods.
Other:
Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
