About the Role:
The Shift Supervisor’s primary objective is to maintain accurate daily records regarding bag ingredient and production, material/equipment deliveries, and bag feed production, inventory, and loading. It is important that you maintain a clean and organized work area for the purpose of safety, efficiency, and appearance.
- You develop and provide ongoing training of current team members
- You inspect and monitor feed quality, weight, and packaging
- You perform other feed production related functions or duties as needed
- You are responsible for several direct reports
- You provide timely feedback to upper management
- You assist with process improvements
- You track performance and production metrics
Who You Are:
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Evidence of analytical reasoning and mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on a consecutive basis required
- Previous forklift experience required
- Must be available for any shift, over-time and weekends
- Ideal candidate will have 3 years manufacturing experience
- At least 2 years management experience
- Production manufacturing or agriculture (livestock/grain feed) industry experience preferred
