Prolink is hiring: Electrical Maintenance Technician 3rd shift in Shelbyville

Prolink is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician. You will install, test, repair, and maintain electrical or electronic plant production machinery, support equipment, building, and other systems throughout the site to maintain optimum operating conditions and plant productivity. You'll assist with related upgrades, improvements, and assigned projects as required.

Responsibilities:

• Support Maintenance Team members with troubleshooting, repairing and improving all processes and equipment.
• Receives and performs job assignments through work orders, sketches, PM schedules, blueprints, or verbal instructions. Follows applicable codes and regulations on work performed.
• Troubleshoots all malfunctioning systems, troubleshoot through PLCs, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate and remedy the breakdown or malfunction.
• Installation of electrical systems, conduits, wire connections to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components, and modify and relocate machinery
• Repair or replace wiring, power tools and maintains various production machinery and equipment, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and parts.

Must Haves:

• A.S./B.S. Degree in Electronics Eng/Maintenance Technology/Industrial Maintenance or related field or Military equivalent OR Journeyman's Card
• 3-5 years in Industrial Maintenance/manufacturing experience
• Experience in 480V/3-Phase, VFD, Allen Bradley, Siemens PLC troubleshooting, and reading/interpreting blueprints/schematics
