Cross Dock Analyst Liaison Job Description

Full Job Description

• Facilitate the communication and cooperation between Fusion Transportation and a new Third Party Cross Dock facility
• Support Operations team in the management and scheduling of appointments
• Support Operations team with administrative functions for new cross dock facility
• Review completeness of outbound freight paperwork and scheduling to ensure alignment with planning objectives
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure Fusion achieves Must Arrive By Date (“MABD”) compliance
• Proactively work with Planning and Dispatch team to ensure there is sufficient Transit Time for MABD achievement
• Support other related Fusion Transport initiatives in order to build a best in class service model

Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Knowledge and experience in MercuryGate is preferred, but not required
• Must be able to interact well with others
• Must be able to work independently, or in a team setting
• Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities
• Responds well to questions; Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations / procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
