As a Manufacturing Controls Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, maintaining, and optimizing automated systems to ensure peak performance in our production processes.
Manufacturing Controls Engineer Responsibilities:
- Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLCs, CNC machines, and other industrial control systems to support seamless production.
- Implement and integrate controls for manufacturing equipment to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects involving automation, system upgrades, and process improvements.
- Provide hands-on support for machinery, systems diagnostics, testing, and resolving operational challenges.
- Provide continuous improvement by providinginnovative solutions to improve safety, reliability, and productivity while reducing costs and waste.
- Hands-on experience in industrial controls, CNC systems, and PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, or similar).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, HMI, and/or SCADA systems.
- Analytical mindset with a knack for troubleshooting and delivering innovative solutions. Strong problem solving acumen.
- Being a team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field is preferred.
- Ability to work onsite in Rochester NY.
