Job Title: Forklift Operator
Reports To: Warehouse Manager/Supervisor

Job Overview:

A Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move materials and products within a warehouse, distribution center, or construction site. The role involves loading, unloading, stacking, and storing goods, ensuring the proper handling of materials to support smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or production areas.
• Transport goods between storage areas, shipping docks, and production lines.
• Inspect the forklift before use to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any maintenance issues.
• Ensure that materials are stored in an organized and safe manner, following the proper labeling and stacking procedures.
• Assist with inventory control by ensuring accurate documentation of material movement.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, company policies, and regulations while operating the forklift.
• Perform regular safety checks of the forklift and report any damage or mechanical issues to the supervisor.
• Assist with general warehouse duties, such as cleaning, organizing, and maintaining inventory.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely and accurate shipment of goods.

Required Qualifications:
