Arlington Heights Park District is looking for Adult Sports Attendants! As an Adult Sports Attendant, youre ensuring games run smoothly and everyone has a blast. From setting up courts to keeping the scoreboard ticking, youll be the go-to for players and teams. If you love sports, teamwork, and making game night the highlight of someones week, this position is a great fit for you!


Must be at least 18 years of age

Hourly Rate: $16-$18 DOQ


Shifts:

Women's Pick-Up Basketball | Tuesdays 7:30-10:30 pm at Camelot | Starts Jan 7
Adult Pick Up Soccer | Wednesdays 7:30-10:30 pm at Camelot | Starts Jan 15

JOB SPECIFIC INFORMATION

  • Checks in participants
  • Assists with organizing participants into teams and rotating teams after each game
  • Sets up and removes sports equipment, such as basketball hoops and soccer goals
  • Maintains time on the clock during games to ensure fair and timely rotations
  • Monitors gym or field activities to ensure program rules are followed
  • Maintains a consistent and professional presence during program hours


SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

  • Standing or sitting for sustained periods while completing work
  • Repetitive hand/arm movements such as when keeping score or running a scoreboard
  • Some bending, twisting, and walking while performing job duties
  • Some bending, kneeling and reaching for items off the floor and on high shelves
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. in recreational equipment, storage boxes, and other supplies.
